In a ministry meeting in December 2004, a brother challenged the congregation to memorize a lengthy footnote on Titus 3:15 from the Holy Bible Recovery Version (a wonderful study Bible). Because there’s no better way to memorize things than by singing them, in 2005 H. J. of Melody of Lilies set the verse and footnote to music, word for word.
In 2008, we worked with Living Stream Ministry (publisher of the Holy Bible Recovery Version) to arrange and record the 12 songs in this album.
In the words of the footnote, “Faith is for appreciating, substantiating, and receiving the unlimited riches of the Triune God; love is for experiencing, enjoying, and living out the immeasurably rich Triune God.”
Our prayer is that this album will bring all those who hear it into the experience of faith and love, these “two inseparable, excellent virtues of the believers in Christ.”
