Our sovereign God gives us many new beginnings, big and small—whether it’s a new day dawning or the start of a new year. Even more, we experience a new beginning every time we turn our heart to the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:16-18).
We produced this joyful Scripture song (the lyrics are from Psalm 95:1-3) to praise our wonderful God and to wish you all a happy New Year! Although 2020 may not have provided many outward reasons to rejoice, when we turn to the Lord and search more deeply, we can find many reasons to rejoice. Actually, as believers we can always rejoice in the Lord (Philippians 4:4).
We’re thankful to the Lord for His shepherding care for us throughout 2020, and we’re looking forward to loving and enjoying His presence in 2021. May your new year be a new beginning filled with turning to, seeking, loving, gaining, and praising Jesus Christ. May we all continually rejoice in Him!
